Actually, drainage repair was needed, so they had to empty the basin to do the work. So, it’s gonna be swampy for a little while. Might be a good time for a tough mudder or some mud-boggin’. (The signs only say no swimming or motorized watercraft. Don’t say nuthin bout obstacle coursin’ or four-wheel drivin’! Heh!)
But seriously, it’s a weird site. Not many ducks, a few geese, but a siege of herons. Dozens! I’ve never seen so many. Especially this close together.
